Hey ladies today's post is about a makeup product that I considered a useless step in a makeup routine. That product my friends is a makeup primer. Not a big fan of primers, I always had this misconception that primers are only for people with oily skins ( I have normal to dry) to keep their foundation matte for longer period of time. Last week, I was invited at a couple of formal dinners, the question was how to wear makeup and in the scorching heat in which even my bare skin was melting like a burning wax candle.. Lol ( yes!! Is a bit of an exaggeration)
Anyways I had to wear makeup and lots of it (my love for makeup <3). So how would I increase the wearability of my foundation and prevent it looking like a sweaty oil dump????? Hmmm!! Primer??? YES!!! So here is the one I tried:

My Thoughts:
I absolutely love this primer. I used it under my eyes ,T- zone and everywhere that I thought My face would become oily. Silicone based, it looks pink coloured cream in the jar but when applied, blends into a translucent matte effect that glides beautifully on your skin and the foundation application is smooth and airbrushed as well.
My foundation ( Bourjois Healthy Mix) stayed matte (not dry flaky type) and my concealer (Kryolan
TV stick + translucent powder) under the eyes did not budge at all. No complaints, I am a total convert after using it. Totally recommend this product. A must have for oily skin types however a warning for those with dry skins not to use it in winters.
